Budapest, Hungary, Europe – Budapest is just bursting with the arts. There are over 200 museums and galleries. More than 800 monuments. 40 theatres. 7 concert halls and an Opera house (sing it) ♫ in a pear tree. ♫. Not to mention the stunning architecture of many of its buildings and their opulent interiors.
There isn’t a gay village. The gay bars & clubs are sprinkled around town; what’s left of them anyway. I was surprised when I put this guide together, how few gay venues there are now, compared to just a few years ago. Seems there’s been quite a shakedown!
